What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal data. The data involved is limited to:

• ·Analytics. Standard, aggregate usage data (pages viewed, rough location by country, device type, referring site) so we can see what is useful and fix what is broken.
• ·Labels you decode. Ingredient lists you paste into the decode tool are processed to produce your result and are not tied to your identity. Do not paste anything personal into it.
• ·Messages. If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply and, where relevant, correct a rating.

Cookies and affiliate links

Some of our outbound buy links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer or its affiliate network (for example Amazon) may set a cookie so that a purchase you make is credited to us, at no extra cost to you. That cookie is set by the retailer, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policy. Commission never changes a score. See our affiliate disclosure.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not break the site; it only affects whether a purchase is attributed to us.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs to serve pages. Analytics providers process data on our behalf, only to run the site, not for their own marketing.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these, email hello@plainbody.com and we will act on it.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes
