People with a history of eyelid or scalp dermatitis are more likely to react.

A mild amino acid-derived surfactant combining oleic acid and taurine. Used in gentle facial and body cleansers for its low irritation profile and effective cleansing.

A disaccharide sugar that acts as a humectant, drawing moisture into the skin and helping prevent dryness. It is well tolerated and commonly found in skincare formulas designed to support skin barrier health.

A synthetic polymer used to thicken and stabilize cosmetic formulas. The polymer chains are too large to penetrate skin; graded safe by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review and widely used in rinse-off and leave-on products.

A widely used preservative, safe at the legal limit of 1% or less. Often the "paraben-free" replacement.
